Anchor that surge. Ride the wave on enthusiasm.

The advice…

Whenever you have that surge of creative energy that feels right. That electrifying feeling of wanting to start something, do something that lights you up. Don’t wait it out. Ride on that surge… that wave… of enthusiasm. Take the first step.

Where it’s coming from…

We all have things we aspire to be or to do. Some of us are already living those things. Others are still in the figuring‑it‑out stage. And when we do figure it out - or even get a step closer, catching a glimpse of something that lights us up - it often happens in a quiet moment at home or in the middle of a conversation with friends.

You know the moment. That surge of energy. That sudden clarity. You start seeing a vision of the life you want, and for a second your dream rises to the surface, close enough to touch. You feel conviction. You feel hope.

That’s the point. That exact moment is when you need to do something - anything - to anchor that dream to reality. It might mean saying it out loud to a friend. It might mean sending a message or making a call. Something small, but real.

Because if you don’t, that dream will slip away again. Like a submarine, it will begin its descent back into the dark, sinking out of reach.

But that tiny action - taken while you’re riding the wave of enthusiasm - creates a tether. A line you can pull on later, when the moment isn’t as bright, but the desire is still there.

And that tether can be enough to bring the dream back to the surface when you’re ready to chase it.
